I did the Half Dome hike!!! I've been unsuccessfully applying for the lottery almost every year since 2013, but this year I finally got it! Here’s a chronicle of my journey with thoughts and photos from the trail.

Last Fall we were preparing to travel, but the wheels on the softside luggages I bought over a decade ago were finally starting to die.

In August of 2017, we moved out of our small 1 bedroom condo and into a much more spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment in preparation for the coming baby.

Continuing from before, I’ve documented the making of the smash cake and its inevitable demise.

My kid turned 1 last December and I wanted to give him a first birthday to remember, with balloons and cake and a dumb cake smash…

I went inactive in 2017 after a previously mentioned health situation, which was nothing to worry about. I'm fine…
